JUNIOR JAVASCRIPT DEVELOPER

As a Junior JavaScript Developer at eLab, under the guidance of our senior staff, you'll be responsible for developing features and functions in eLab's next generation of products for markets including health informatics, criminal justice, and clinical testing. At eLab, you'll use modern client and server JavaScript frameworks, open-source libraries and commercial components to build cloud-based applications with rich user interfaces. Qualifications
Academic Credentials(Please note, certified geniuses may skip this step, but will be tested severely)

  • AS, BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, and even Music(yes, some of the best programmers have this one)

    Knowledge or experience: Enough for us to know you can handle it, but not so much you can't be called Junior (usually 2 years or less). Here's the core list we look for.

  • JavaScript language basics (in particular the current version's good parts)
  • Computer science basic data structures and algorithms (like knowing the difference between maps, lists, and trees including the best ways to sort, add, or rearrange them)
  • Using a computer (Windows, Mac OS, or Linux) - not the pointy, clicky kind of using but the geeky type and hit return kind of using a computer. In other words, if you don't know how to run a computer from a prompt, you'll probably be ushered out the door.
  • Basics of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JSON, SSL, and REST (a good first start would be knowing what the abbreviations mean, but you should know how they work together and where they might be used)

    If you've made it this far, we're certainly interested but to really score big with our developer team these could help:

  • Knowledge of fundamental design patterns such as MVC, Singletons, and Facades
  • Active or past engagement in a software project that utilizes JavaScript
  • Use of the actual JavaScript frameworks, libraries, and tools we use every day including Angular.js, node.js, express.js, MongoDB, grunt.js, and WebStorm
  • Experience using SQL or NoSQL databases and if you don't have any, then tell us why not
  • Experience with JavaScript testing frameworks for unit and integration testing

  • Medical Billing Collection Specialist

    Education:Associates Degree
    Career Level:Experienced Non-Manager
    Position:Full-Time

    The specialist will be responsible for all aspects of patient/client billing and collections for designated accounts. Including but not limited to performing the billing function, ensuring timely payments, collections and insurance follow up, while providing excellent customer service. Must have Toxicology Lab billing experience.

    1. Associate's Degree
    2. Minimum three (3) years healthcare billing and collections experience in a lab setting
    3. Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel software
    4. Must have experience with Medicare and Medicaid
    5. In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry billing and coding
    6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    1. Accountable for various accounts receivable balances
    2. Follow up on claim status with various insurance companies in a timely manner.
    3. Document collection actions and results on progress record.
    4. Trouble shoot problem account and patient issues.
    5. Routinely communicate with Office Manager to discuss high-risk accounts, escalation strategies and probable bad debts write off.
    6. Resolve patient billing inquiries and disputes timely/correct and re-bill medical claims to various insurance companies via electronic or hard copy.
    7. Communicate status of delinquent accounts to Office Manager on an as needed basis or more frequently as situation warrants; request office manager intervention or assistance as needed on difficult accounts. Posting Insurance and patient payments/secondary billing.
    8. Review unbilled accounts report and front end edits
    9. Other duties as assigned.

    Instrument Operator

    Education:Bachelors Degree

    Primary responsibilities include working with a team of professionals in Atlanta, GA to provide clinical analysis and evaluation of biological specimens (urine, oral fluid) for drugs that are part of a prescription regimen and/or for drugs of abuse.

    All Candidates must have:

    1. Excellent quantitative pipetting technique
    2. 1-2 years or more years practical laboratory experience
    3. 1-2 years GC/MS and/or LC/MS/MS operation and maintenance experience
    4. Team focus and ability to communicate effectively with co-workers
    5. Customer service orientation
    6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

    Sample Processor

    Position:Full-Time

    Sample Processor will work in a physician's office to collect and send urine samples to a confirmation laboratory in Atlanta.
    $15-18/hour
    Shift 1 7am-4pm
    Shift 2 10am-7pm
    Shift 3 12pm-9pm
    Responsibilities include:
    • Ordering Specimens- use software to order patient sample
    • Print out requisition form for patient sample and make sure it is properly filled out
    • Specimen Collection- receive specimen from office/patient, aliquot sample into container to be sent into laboratory, label sample with barcode for correct identification upon arrival at confirmation lab
    • Ensure patient paperwork is signed accordingly.
    • Specimen Shipping- manage daily shipping of samples to confirmation lab, including utilizing biohazard shipping bags to individually package samples.
    • Sample Processor will make the final report available to the physician.
    • Manage Inventory- such as gloves, specimen cups, printer ink cartridges and more.

    High School Diploma.

    Good communication skills, proficient in basic computer skills, customer focused, organized, willing to handle biohazard samples.
